the Tall Ships we have available to hire for Corporate Days and
Weekends:

Swan Fan Makkum
At 62 metres the Swan fan Makkum is the world’s
largest brigantine and the biggest two-masted ship. Built in
1993, she
was designed in the style of a traditional windjammer by naval
architect Olivier van Meer. From her home in the Netherlands
the Swan is a regular visitor to the UK as well as the Baltic,
Mediterranean and Caribbean.
The ship can carry up to 120 passengers and is ideal for corporate
charters with a large deck saloon that can seat 70 people for
dinner. With 16 cabins taking 32 guests the Swan also makes a
great ship for team building events and longer sailing passages.

Grand Turk
The Grand Turk is a replica 18th Century man-of-war
ship of the type that took part in the Battle of Trafalgar.
Built in 1996,
her primary role is in the film and television industry where
she has featured in such programmes as Hornblower and Longitude.
In addition to film work, the Grand Turk makes a stunning venue
for entertaining. Her spacious saloon is a great place for entertaining
and can seat up to 120 people for dinner. On deck her traditional
rigging and numerous cannons provide the backdrop for receptions
for up to 200 people at the quayside.

Kaskelot
Kaskelot was built in Denmark in 1948 and first earned
her living carrying supplies to the remote East Greenland coast
and later
as a fisheries support vessel in The Faroes.
Brought to the UK in 1981 she was then re-designed and re-rigged
into a three-masted barque. Kaskelot is the largest wooden-hulled
vessel in the world.
With most of her income coming from a host of film credits,
Kaskelot is also available for sail training, management training
and corporate hospitality.

La Recouvrance
La Recouvrance was built in Brest, France, in 1992 and is a
replica of a French military ship of the 19th century. She is
based on a military despatch schooner of the 1830s, used to take
urgent orders and messages and letters to naval ships from the
coasts of Africa to the French Antilles.
La Recouvrance is the ship of the city of Brest and first set
sail on 20th May 1993. Since those days she has sailed the coasts
of Brittany and beyond, with a crew of five professional sailors
- skipper, mate and three other crew - she has taken parties
of 12 on cruises and 25 people at a time on day sails.
